I’m used to carrying a backpack with a small trolley, every time I go home to my hometown for 1-2 weeks of vacation. My recent homecoming was a bit challenging though, having to come from abroad (oh yes! Isa na’kong dakilang OFW! haha!), I am expected to bring home a lot of those pasalubongs! I happened to browse through my old folders, while I was trying to make up my mind as to which travel adventure to post in this not-so-updated blog [past travels? recent travels? ughh! Dami ko pang dapat na habuling blogposts!]. Anyway, back to my browsing through old folders now—and so I saw this folder on my biglaang-trip to Malaysia, way back 2010.
One of my childhood dreams WAS to visit the famous Baguio City. I don’t know, but the place WAS overly commercialized that I really would want to see it for myself hehehe! Until one day, after my second busy season (that was June of 2007), my office batchmates planned for a trip to Baguio. I was not that close to them yet at that time, so I hesitated at first. But because I so wanted to see Baguio, I accepted the invitation the day before the trip—and invited also one of my closest friends in the office, so I won’t feel out-of-place hehehe! >>>READ FULL ARTICLE>>>
RAFTING DAVAO RIVER
The rafting adventure was included in our itinerary, but it has a separate fee. Before we started off with the Day 2 activities, we took our breakfast first at the hotel’s lobby, at our own expense (and which was quite expensive) hehehe walang libre eh! :) Then after a few minutes, off we went to Davao Marina Wharf for the first sched of the boat transfer.

It was my first (and only) trip to this part of Mindanao, though I’m a Mindanaoan myself hehehe! Anyway, we’ve booked our flight to Davao just for the sake of not letting the chance of getting a promo ticket pass us by (biglaang pagbu-book ulit! ehehe!) . I regard this trip as “the-much-needed break” for 2009!!! Hehehe not because it was Christmas season, but because it was during this time that I got my heart badly broken! awts! :D Anyway, during this Christmas vacation, my family opted to celebrate it in my parents’ hometown, in Ozamis City. Day 2 started with a complimentary breakfast at Amorita Resort. Plan: Make ourselves full to last the entire day! hahaha! We ate almost every bit of what’s served on the table, libre na eh! haha patay-gutom lang! :D Original plan for Day 2 was to go to Danao and experience the extreme activities, but it was just too far from Panglao that I (kase ako taga-decide eh! haha!) decided to change the plan.
