I’m posting again our itinerary for this 3D2N Davao Trip :)
Before we started off with the Day 2 activities, we took our breakfast first at the hotel’s lobby, at our own expense (and which was quite expensive) hehehe walang libre eh! :) Then after a few minutes, off we went to Davao Marina Wharf for the first sched of the boat transfer.
Boat transfer schedules from the Davao Marina Wharf to Pearl Farm Beach Resort, by the way, are as follows: 8:00 AM, 1:30 PM, 4:00 PM, 6:00 PM. While boat transfers from Pearl Farm to Davao Marina: 6:45 am, 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 4:00 pm. You may visit http://www.pearlfarmresort.com/ for more details.
It’s a 45-minute boat ride from the Davao Marina Wharf to Pearl Farm Resort and upon reaching the wharf of Pearl Farm (or popularly known as the Parola), we were greeted with this sight—the wonderful Parola beside the infinity pool.
From the Parola, the houses on stilts are also visible, but we didn’t get to check how these looked inside, we didn’t book for one of those houses hehehe! We just made use of the free couch and tables at the side of the infinity pool.
Upon arrival at the Parola, we were also offered with a complimentary drink (parang watermelon juice yun, actually hehehe! ) while a tour guide was giving some briefing about touring around the resort. And before we changed our “outfits” (hahha!), cam-whoring muna around the resort! :)
And then at about 10 am, we were all set for the Malipano Island visit. But before hopping to the speedboat, pikchuran one more time! :))
MALIPANO ISLAND
The Malipano Island is about 7-10 minutes away from Pearl Farm Resort via a speedboat. I think we were the only ones who were there in the island hehehe! So cam-whore, swim ng konti, tapos tambay lang ang ginawa namin for 20 minutes. So quick! Hahahaha!
And when we got bored, we decided to go back to Pearl Farm and do some more cam-whoring before lunch! :D
Actually, there are aqua sports facilities around the area, but these have separate rates from the package that we had, so we didn’t anymore avail of those facilities.
We didn’t take a swim at the beach of Pearl Farm ‘cause it was super low tide. We were just watching some kids hunting for some starfish while we pass the time away. And after a few minutes, we were all ready for the buffet lunch! :D
We super liked this part of the itinerary!!! Bongga ang food, PG-mode on! :D
After taking lunch, we rested for a while, and then we continued with cam-whoring around the resort until 2pm.
2pm and we were ready to take a swim at the resort’s infinity pool!!! :)))
Almost an hour din kame nagkulitan sa pool, under the heat of the mad sun! hehehe!
At 3pm, we were already preppin for our return trip to the city. We made use of the public washroom/dressing room at one part of the resort. Medyo may pila, pero buti na lang medyo maaga-aga pa kame ng konti. Then at 4pm, we already hopped into the boat bound for Davao Marina Wharf.
PEOPLE’S PARK DAVAO, BANOKS AND BLUGRE
Since we were a bit early for dinner, we passed by first at People’s Park, just a jeepney ride away from our hotel. We roamed around the place, took (blurry) photos hahaha and then off we went to Banoks for dinner.
After Banoks, we took a cab and went to meet a friend at Blugre Cafe. Banoks is another resto that served buffet dinner!!! Lamod-mode once again hehehe! While Blugre Cafe is known for serving durian-flavored coffee! hehehe! After all the chitchats, we decided to go home and get enough sleep for the next day’s rafting adventure!!! :D
