2017: Norway – a return to Stavanger

2017 European summer and it was the last bank holiday before Christmas. I planned to go back to Stavanger, with the ultimate aim of climbing Kjerag and step on Kjeragbolten—a dream that I wasn’t able to fulfill during my first visit in Stavanger almost 4 years ago. So earlier during the year 2017, I booked the flights (with Phil) to finally make this dream come true.

2017: A Year-end Review

2017 YE 14

It’s that time of the year again – time to look back on what actually happened to my so-called life during the last 12 months or so. Travel-wise, it was a mix of visiting new places and revisiting old ones—either way, we managed to create new and happy memories. On a more personal aspect, there’s too much adult-ing towards the latter part of the year!

2013 SPAINtastic Trip (3 of 3): Barcelona

Park Güell - Barcelona, Spain 2013

Anytime soon, I will be planning for our trip to Barcelona this coming April, and yet I haven’t blogged about my first trip to that city in August 2013 (yes, almost 4 years ago to date of writing!). So I thought I’d write about my first time to set foot in Barcelona before my comeback.

So this is part 3 of my week-long SPAINtastic series; Part 1 (Madrid and Segovia) and Part 2 (Valencia) were written in 2013.

2016: A Year-end Review

10_2016 - Machu Picchu

There wasn’t a “16for2016” (i.e., 16 countries in year 2016), which could have been the third following from my 14for2014 and 15for2015 projects in the last 2 years. Nonetheless, this year I managed to step on 4 continents (Phil did 5 though, because America!)—which is why I think 2016 is equally awesome as the previous years!
