Kaboom! Happy new year!! Another year has ended, ambilisss!!! Let us see how much I’ve accomplished during the year 2012. Parang kelan lang nung nag-post ako ng 2012 Bucket List ko nung Janaury 1 oh ta’s sabay post ng mid-year review nung June!! :D

Heto na! :)

1. Take a GOOD fall (yung tipong pang-forever na! ayee!!! forever daw oh! fall head over heels, gow! :D ..hindi sa ginagawa kong laro ito, pero dapat open na’ko for anything new—bawal na martyr! :D) I am ready for a fall! ahaha!
MIDYEAR: Alaws! Anu ba yan, ang tagal kong ma-inlove (ulit) hahaha! mukhang pang-long-term goal ‘to, di kaya sa taong ito! :D Amend goal nga! :D
YEAREND: Dear heart, tibok-tibok din! :D andami mo nang pahinga, please lang! =p Pero salamat naman sa isang taong nahuhugutan ko ng positibong inspirasyon! Yun oh! (Parehas pa din ng last year???) =p

2. Go to Bali Indonesia and wear a two-piece! kung anung piece man yon, dapat dalawa! haha! B-) Need to work on my beer-belly!!! wehehe!
MIDYEAR: Working out for the July 20 Bali trip! Preysure eto! ahaha! :) labo! Can I bargain? 1 piece na lang oh, ‘di carry ilabas ang tyan! :D
YEAREND: Partly accomplished! Hiyes! Went to Bali, Indonesia last July 2012 with EYmates and other friends who were former officemates in the Ph. Yun lang, hindi ka-twopiece twopiece ang beach na napuntahan namin (ang totoo, hindi katwopiece twopiece ang katawan ko wahaha!). Nonetheless, I enjoyed the trip! :D Although my expectations were so high (dahil akala ko ay puro beach lang), natuwa naman ako sa mga temples and other spots na nabisita namin! :D

3. Pursue a UK-based or US-based audit/accounting job! hehehe! I’m looking forward to a positive response from someone :) Ipagdadasal ko ‘to, pero pag hindi ibibigay, cge lang! :D
MIDYEAR: And so I got a reply last January…kung anu man yon, sikreto! :| basta, bahala na! nag-aantay ulit ng reply ngaun.. Kinakabahan na naman ako! >:-|
YEAREND: Eto na, I’m currently preppin for my trip to (where else?!?!)… Hiyes! I’m going to work in UK ehehe! Although maraming aberya in between to achieve this goal, in the end, natupad pa din! Thank you, Lord! :D Got my certificate of sponsorship last Oct 18, 2012 (exactly a year after my first interview for this job), then I got my visa last November 28, 2012. I’m supposed to report to work on January 2, pero dahil maraming echebureche sa POEA, hayun na defer tuloy! :/ pero ayus lang, napakachallenging! Hahaha!

4. Master a new language!
MIDYEAR: Aku berjuang dengan bahasa Indonesia! Belajar beberapa kata / istilah, mudah-mudahan, akhir tahun, aku sudah menguasai bahasa! : p (Translate: I’m struggling with the Bahasa Indonesia! Learned a few words/terms, sana at end of year, master ko na! :p) —hahaha! syempre ni-google translate ko lang yan! :D
YEAREND: My Bahasa Indonesia skill is too far from mastery, but I can communicate already with the (limited) words/terms that I learned in my 11 months of stay in Jakarta! Hooray! :D

5. Sing/Perform an acoustic song upstage! woohoo! :D
MIDYEAR: Epic fail! Eh yung mag-audition nga lang sa choir, nawalan ako ng lakas ng loob, mag-solo pa kaya!? hehehe videoke na lang oh! :) Pero heto, one time nung nag-Ancol kame, ta’s may band na nagpe-play sa gilid, aba! Bigla na lang kame umepal, umakyat ng stage! Hahaha! gulat ang mga nasa stage! Ehehe!

YEAREND: Wala talaga eh, meron na’kong naisip na mga kanta eh ahaha! Pero walang pagkakataon…ay meron pala, pero I don’t have enough lakas ng loob para gawin to, grabe, shy-type as usual! Wahaha! :)

6. Compose a song for that someone special and sing it in front of him! —him (refer to #1 haha! di ba sweet???)
MIDYEAR: Para sa’n ang kanta kung walang pag-aalayan?! :( hehehe! rarrr!
YEAREND: Dependent sa katuparan ng #1, kaya wala din ‘to!

7. Get a new camera (compact with quality of an SLR; that’s good for traveling hehe) / Telephoto lens!!!
MIDYEAR: Now that I have overcome my fear of snorkeling, I’m thinking of an all-weather cam—pwede underwater! Pero dahil kuripot ako, heto nagdadal’wang isip pa din!
YEAREND: I got myself a new lens sometime in August! Hooray! Got it at a super cheap price ehehe! My haggling skills worked! =p Pero hanggang ngaun, di ko pa rin nagagamit ng todo-todo! Hehe! Hassle pala dalhin, excess baggage haha! :p

8. Visit at least 5 tourist destinations in Pinas for 5 different nature wonders and adventures! O ha! hehe! Ang gastos!!!
a. Beach-VISAYAS—Boracay in Aklan to experience parasailing or diving (need to overcome my fear of deep waters hahaha!) or Bantayan Island in Cebu or try surfing in Siargao (pero hindi na Visayas to hehe);
b. Mountain-Northern Luzon—Mt. Pulag to experience longer hours of trekking (balian ng binti na eto!);
c. Waterfalls-LUZVIMIN—Tinuy-an Falls in Surigao or Tinago Falls in Iligan to experience jumping off a cliff (hahaha takot eh!);
d. Volcano-LUZON—Mayon Volcano in Albay to see the postcard-quality scenery ehehe;
e. Rock formations-MINDANAO—Cagayan de Oro to do rock-climbing or rappelling
MIDYEAR: Haynako haynako haynako! Tuparin lahat to sa August please! :D
YEAREND: Hmm PARTLY-accomplished! Visited more than 5 places in the Ph in 2012, but not exactly those listed above haha! Pwede na?? Basta nakagala! Ehehe!

a. BEACH – planned for Bora for parasailing or diving or Bantayan or Siargao, but ended up experiencing parasailing in Bali (Indonesia ‘to, hindi sa Pinas) last July. Pero nakapag-beach naman ako sa Camiguin island last August, at natuwa naman ako sa White Island and Matnigue Island! Kaya, solb na! ;p

b.MOUNTAIN – hayun, hindi nga nag-push through and Pulag trip due to bad weather during my first homecoming last August… Pero nakapag twin hike naman ako sa Mt. Talamitam and Mt. Batulao last Dec. 15-16! Yehey!!! :D

c. WATERFALLS – Ok, ang ambitious lang ng plano kong gumala sa Surigao para sa Tinuy-an Falls hehe kala mo ang daming time, slack na slack lang ang peg! :D Yung Iligan sidetrip ko naman para mapuntahan ang Tinago Falls ay epic fail! Hahaha! Pero I got the chance to see Katibawasan Falls in Camiguin hehe! Pwede na! and I also got a chance to see the I-don’t-know-the-name-of-the-falls in Sukabumi (pero sa Indonesia to, hndi sa Pinas hehe)… Yun lang, wala yung plan na mag-jump sa cliff! Hohoho! =p

d. VOLCANO – Hindi man natupad ang pagdalaw sa Mt. Mayon, kasabay ng planong sumakay sa PNR tren, nakapag-hike naman ako sa Old Volcano sa Camiguin, sabay natanaw na rin yung katabing Mt. Hibok-hibok—prehas nasa Camiguin! (quota ako sa Camiguin ah! Ehehe!). I also got to see a volcano in Bali, Indonesia. :D Yun oh, pwedeng cone-shaped hehehe!

e. ROCK FORMATIONS – hehe! Just visited a Macahambus Cave in CDO last August (pwede na ba to i-consider? Hehe) Yun lang eh, walang rappelling at rock-climbing na nangyare =p

9. See a real Penguin or Kangaroo!!! Hahaha! Wala lang, trip lang! Kung pwedeng mahawakan din, why not?! :)
MIDYEAR: Ang random trip lang ang natupad!!! Hiyess! I went to Taman Safari last May and saw a real penguin and kangaroo! Oh ha! :D Hindi pala cute ang penguin sa personal, parng dugyot, hindi makinis! Hahaha! Parang bibi lang kung lumangoy! Haha! ang Kangaroo naman ay iba sa inexpect kong tumatalon-talon hahah! :D

YEAREND: So done.

10. Pose with a celebrity (pag local: pwedeng ma-meet si Carlo Aquino???!!! hehehe!) :D
MIDYEAR: Corny! Jologs! Alaws! :D
YEAREND: So not checked!

11. Get a self-designed tattoo! / Do-it-myself (henna) tattoo and wear it for a week or two :D
MIDYEAR: San ba kase nakakabili ng henna? Tagal ko nang hindi nakapag-doodle, d nako mashado nag-eemote! Hahaha! :D wala pang disenyo, tingnan natin after 6 months…
YEAREND: So not done!

12. Dance like a highschool/gradeschool kid! hahaha! Parang-tanga-moments! (Backstreet’s back alright! haha!)
MIDYEAR: Counted ba ang disco?? Hehe kung oo, check na to! How about HipHop Abs?! hehe! :p

YEAREND: Yun! Nag-bar pa kame sa Bali nung August, syempre may sayaw sayaw ehehe! Tas nag-gangnam dance din ako nung Company outing nung November, so check na check na ‘to! =p

That’s it! I’m quite satisfied with the things that I’ve accomplished for this year (I’m talking in terms of this bucket list hehe!). I’m excited for 2013! Bring it on!!! :D
